Building Understanding: Facilities Management for Small Biz & Beyond

  • Studio TwoThree 109 W 15th St Richmond, VA, 23224 United States (map)

Business owners and nonprofit leaders are not building operations experts, yet they end up spending valuable time addressing facility issues instead of focusing on their fundamental mission.

Get the tools you need to avoid facility surprises, and learn how to deal with the ones you face already. Topics will include:

  • Basic building management

  • City code compliance

  • Advice for lease or purchase of buildings

  • Utility costs and basic system operations (HVAC, lighting, building envelope, etc.)

This is a Business of Climate event, presented in partnership with ChamberRVA, the Metropolitan Business League, InUnison, SCORE Richmond, and the Jackson Ward Collective Foundation.

$15/person for the general public

$10/person for affiliates and members of our partner organizations
